BENTON, MO (KFVS) - An East Prairie man is in custody for attempted solicitation of a minor.Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter says the charge stems from Brian Burney sending inappropriate and explicit messages to a 15 year-old girl through Facebook and by text.On Friday night, deputies responded to a report that a teenage girl was attempting to run away.Deputies talked with the juvenile's guardian, who said the child had been in contact with Burney on Facebook.
